CORRECTION: Police investigating assault in Carterton
The young girl was not injured in the assault.

Wairarapa Police are seeking information from the public following an assault in Fisher Place, Carterton over the weekend.
The incident happened on Saturday 19 August between 2.30pm and 3.30pm.
An 11-year-old girl has been assaulted but wasn't injured.
Police are supporting her and her family.
The offender is described as a male Maori aged between 20 and 30 years.
This man was wearing a black hooded top with writing or logo on the right hand side, black pants, black Adidas shoes and a red and white bandana.
As part of the ongoing investigation into the assault Police would like to hear from any witnesses or anyone who saw a person fitting the description.
Police would also like to hear from anyone who noticed any suspicious activity in the area of Fisher Place, Carterton on Saturday afternoon.
