"Emergency services attending crash in Te Puke"

At 6.05pm tonight a vehicle travelling on Jelicoe Street in Te Puke has left the road and collided with a large tree.
Emergency services are at the scene and are working to free people trapped in the vehicle.
There are road closures which will affect vehicles travelling through Te Puke, and local diversions are in place.
Drivers should expect delays.
