"Christchurch Police concerned for missing man"
Canterbury Police are seeking 58-year-old John Old, of Mairehau, Christchurch.
Police were informed that he was missing on Thursday afternoon, and are concerned for his wellbeing.
Mr Old is described as 5 ft 6” tall, with a slim build, short grey hair and a short white beard.
He is believed to have flown into Christchurch Airport on the morning of Saturday 3 December 2016.
It is believed that Mr Old is in the Canterbury area, possibly the high country lakes.
Family last spoke to him on Saturday December 3rd
Any information on his whereabouts since last Saturday afternoon, or sightings of him, should be reported to 111.
