Police are currently at the scene of a fatal crash on Waipa Road, Birkenhead.
Police were called just before midday after a bus and van collided.
The driver of the van has died at the scene.
There were no passengers on the bus, the driver has minor injuries and is receiving medical treatment.

Waipa Road is closed and diversions are in place.
