Fatal crash at Ngakuru, south of Rotorua
Police are in attendance at a fatal crash near the intersection of Rehi Road and Whirinaki Valley Road, Ngakuru, south of Rotorua.
Police were called to the crash between a car and a motorcycle at 5:15pm this evening.
The motorcyclist has died as a result of the crash.
The Serious Crash Unit is in attendance and this section of Whirinaki Valley Road is currently closed.
People travelling in the area are asked to use alternative routes.
