"Police appeal for sightings of missing man"
Canterbury Police are appealing for sightings of Alexander Grant, 80, who was last heard from this morning.
Mr Grant is believed to be in his car - a blue Honda (similar to the one pictured), registration number BYF538 - and may have been travelling between Timaru and his home in Christchurch.
Mr Grant has some health concerns, including onset alzheimer's.
Anyone who believes they have seen Mr Grant or his vehicle is asked to contact Christchurch Central Police on 03 363 7400.
