"Man charged in relation to triple fatality in Northland"
A 49-year-old Northland man has been summonsed to appear in Dargaville District Court on September 1 to face eight charges in relation to a triple fatality crash in Dargaville on June 6.
Three people were killed in the car crash as they travelled east along Baylys Coast Rd, and four were injured.
The 49-year-old, who was the driver of the car, will face seven charges of driving under the influence of alcohol causing death or injury, and one charge of failing to remain at an accident.
As the matter is before the Court Police will be making no further comment.
