SH6 at Spooners Range closed due to ice
Police have closed State Highway 6 at Spooners Range, south of Nelson, due to severe ice.
Emergency services are currently attending a motorcycle crash in the area and Police are also on their way to a motor
vehicle crash where a car has rolled in the Motueka Valley.
Drivers are urged to take extreme care when driving this morning, particularly in rural areas, due to the unsafe
conditions.
Injuries at the accidents are unknown at this stage, the road will be reopened when safe to use.
