Rotorua Police seek witnesses to the shooting on 14 July
Rotorua Police are talking to a number of people in regards to the shooting of a 35 year old man by a Police officer on Te Ngae Rd on Thursday 14 July.
While a large number of witnesses have come forward, Police believe there are still more who could hold vital information on the incident.
In particular, Police would like to speak to the young men who released the video which was widely circulated by media at the time.
Police believe these witnesses could make a significant contribution to the investigation.
The man who was shot remains in hospital in a critical condition and Police’s thoughts are with his family and friends.
The investigation into the incident continues.
