Wellington Police appeal for information on dairy robbery
At about 8.20pm on Thursday, Wellington Police responded to reports of a robbery at a Brooklyn dairy.
A vehicle believed to be used by the alleged offender was seen by Police nearby, however did not stop as instructed.
The empty vehicle was located a short time later after it had crashed through a fence of a property in Karepa Road, Brooklyn.
The area was quickly cordoned by Police and they conducted an extensive search in the area, however, they did not locate the alleged offender.
Wellington Police are seeking further information that may lead to the identity of the alleged offender or any accomplices.
