"Man arrested after Police patrol car taken"
Police have arrested a 44 year-old man from Whangamata following an incident on Saturday night where a Police patrol car was taken at a traffic stop.
The man has been charged with Unlawfully Taking a Motor Vehicle and will appear in court later this week.
As the matter is now before the court Police are unable to comment any further.
