"Christchurch Police looking for information from public"
Christchurch Police are calling for information following an assault in the Wigram/Hornby area earlier this week.
A woman and her daughter were approached by a man on the morning of Monday 13 June just before 9am on Springs Road and the woman was assaulted.
The man in question is described as Indian, aged 50-55 years of medium build and medium height.
At the time of the alleged offence he was wearing black clothing and a black cap.
Police would like to hear from any members of the public who have received unwanted attention from a man, who matches the description above, in the Wigram/Hornby area recently.
