Southern Motorway open after earlier crash at Takanini
Auckland’s Southern Motorway has reopened after an earlier fatal crash at Takanini.
The incident has now been cleared and all northbound lanes are open, however traffic remains heavy in the area.
The NZ Transport Agency says motorists should delay their travel, avoid the area or allow plenty of time for their journey.
The northbound lanes between Papakura and Takanini will be closed tonight when traffic flows are reduced so Police can complete their investigations.
