Suspicious fires in Feilding overnight
April 30th
Police are investigating two suspicious fires in Monmouth Street, Feilding from overnight.
AT about 4.55am this morning, the Fire Service were called to a fire in Monmouth Street. On arrival they discovered a vacant house ablaze. Shortly afterwards, a further call was received with regard to another vacant property on the same street which was also ablaze.
Both properties have suffered significant damage and are being treated as suspicious.
Please are keen to hear from anyone who may have seen anyone acting suspiciously around the Monmouth Street area between the hours of midnight and 6am.
