Fatal car accident, Tangimoana road, Manawatu

At about 2:40am this morning a 23 year old man lost control of his vehicle while rounding a right hand bend on Tangimoana Road near Ohakea.
The driver was ejected from the vehicle during the accident and died at the scene as a result of his injuries.
Details around the exact cause of the accident will be investigated by the Serious Crash Unit.
The drivers name will not be released until his family have been notified
Central District police would like to remind all road users to take regular breaks during their travels over the long weekend and always wear your seat belt.
