Fatal Motorcycle accident, New Plymouth

At about 9pm yesterday a 51 year old man lost control of his motor cycle on Centennial Drive, New Plymouth.
The rider was taken to hospital in a serious condition but unfortunately died from his injuries.
Details around the exact cause of the accident will be investigated by the Serious Crash Unit.
The riders name will not be released until his family have been notified
Central District police would like to remind all road users to maintain awareness of road conditions as the weather changes, a small amount of rain can cause dusty roads to get very slippery.
