Fatal fall Mt. Rolleston - Arthurs Pass - Canterbury
At 7.43am this morning Police received a report that a 31 year old male climber had fallen approximately 50 meters down
a steep rock face on the north face of Mt Rolleston.
The Westpac Helicopter was deployed to the scene and located the male deceased.
Police are now in the process of informing the family.
The matter will be referred to the Coroner.
