Appeal for sightings of stolen silver Jaguar Sovereign
Canterbury Police are currently investigating the kidnapping and aggravated robbery which occurred at around 5am today (13 January 2016).
Detective Constable Luke Vaughan says Police are appealing for sightings of a stolen vehicle, a silver 1989 Jaguar Sovereign registration GAN945, in relation to the incident. “If you see the vehicle contact Police straight away and do not approach the occupants.”
“The two males, who are known to the victim, went to the victim’s address this morning and confronted him with two weapons. They forced him to take his vehicle to two ATM's before going to a petrol station where the victim was able to run off.”
The victim has been treated at Christchurch Hospital for minor stab wounds and is expected to be discharged later today.
