Witnesses Sought to Serious Motor Vehicle Accident, SH45 and Hurford Road New Plymouth.
Police were called to a serious motor vehicle accident at about 6am this morning.
The vehicle, a Nissan Sentra coloured grey, failed to negotiate a moderate bend at Hurford Road whilst heading north
towards New Plymouth on SH45. The vehicle left the roadway and collided with a tree.
The 42 year old woman driver and only occupant has been taken to Taranaki Base Hospital with serious injuries.
Police and Victim Support are supporting family.
