Wanted man located in Whangarei
Northland Police this morning located Thomas Shortcliffe, who had breached his bail conditions by cutting off his electronic monitoring bracelet and fleeing.
The 44-year-old had been on bail at a Papakura address for a number of charges, including kidnapping before fleeing.
He was located in the Whangarei area without incident.
Shortcliffe will appear in the Whangarei District Court today on a number of charges including the alleged assault on the security guard when he fled.
