Three arrested in Panmure shooting

Three arrested in Panmure shooting.

Auckland City District Police have arrested three males following extensive inquiries into a firearms incident in Panmure at 4.30am this morning (28.06.15)
Two of those arrested, aged 16 and 27 will appear at the Auckland District Court tomorrow in relation to a variety of firearms charges, and wounding with intent. A third male aged 47 years has been charged with unlawful possession of a firearm, he will appear at the Auckland District Court on a later date.
The male victim of the shooting remains in Auckland Hospital with a serious, but not life threatening, wound to the right side of his face.
Detective Senior Sergeant Glen Baldwin advises that Police are not seeking anyone else in regard to the shooting, he also commended Police staff for their diligence in tracking down and apprehending the three offenders within a short timeframe.
