Woman arrested following vicious assault
A 20 year old woman has appeared in the Manukau District Court following a vicious attack on another woman at Caltex Otara on 21 April 2015.
The case featured on Police Ten 7 on Thursday 7 May and the woman was subsequently identified and arrested.
“A great effort from Police Ten 7 viewers and outstanding Detective work once again solved a crime that really stirred up a lot of social media discussion, given the brazen nastiness of the attack,” says Counties Manukau Police East Area Commander Inspector Wendy Spiller.
The woman has been charged with assault with intent to rob after she allegedly crossed the station forecourt and approached the victim before seriously assaulting her.
