Witness sought for fatal crash in Tokoroa
Police Serious Crash Unit is currently investigating a fatal crash between a pedestrian and a small truck which occurred on Dalmeny Street Tokoroa at approximately 9pm on Friday, 20 February.
72-year-old Ioane Pere from Tokoroa suffered critical injuries and died later in Waikato Hospital.
Police are appealing for anyone who may have witnessed the crash or have information relating to it to come forward.
Police are particularly interested in two pedestrians who were reportedly on the footpath and would have been passed by the truck just prior to the fatal collision.
