Waitakere Police are investigating an armed robbery at The Warehouse in Lincoln Road Henderson overnight. At about 12:30am a staff member who was leaving The Warehouse was approached by two men in the carpark outside. One of the men was armed with a handgun.
The staff member was forced to take the men into the office and open the safe.
They took a quantity of cash from the safe and left in a silver sedan car with a registration number commencing with X. One of the robbers is described as: About 165 cms (5ft6) tall Medium to fat build. He was wearing: A black hooded jumper with a red pattern on the front. A sleeveless orange vest with silver markings, Black gloves, Full length black pants. The victim was not hurt in the incident.
