Serious Crash - SH1, Greta Road - Canterbury
Emergency Services are attending a serious crash on State Highway 1(Greta Road) just south of the Hurunui River. The
crash involves a car v truck and the road will be closed while a person is extracted from the car. There may be delays
to traffic although a time frame cannot be given at this stage.

It has been confirmed that one person has died as a result of the crash involving a car and truck on Greta Rd, State
Highway 1. The Police serious crash unit is at the scene. The road will be closed for at least an hour.
