Police investigation after man found with serious head injuries
Police are investigating the circumstances surrounding a 49 year old male, located in Tawa overnight with a serious head injury.
Police were called to Rossiter Street, Linden, at approximately 11.30pm on 20 December 2014, where the victim was found lying beside the road.
The man was taken to Wellington hospital, and is in a serious condition.
Detective Senior Sergeant Grant Ferguson of Kapiti Mana CIB said “Police are trying to piece together the victim’s movements and the circumstances that have led to this injury occurring.”
A scene examination is underway.
Police would like to hear from anyone who may have been in Rossiter Street, Linden, Tawa overnight of 20 /21 December 2014.
