Emergency closure of SEART southbound off ramp
The NZ Transport Agency advises drivers that the SEART (South-Eastern Highway) off ramp in Auckland will be closed tonight (Monday night) for emergency works to a guardrail after a crash caused extensive damage.
To minimise disruption to drivers, the closures will be timed between 9pm and 5am when traffic is lighter.
People should allow extra time for their travel if they are using SEART to drive to Auckland International Airport. A signposted detour via Mt Wellington will be in place.
The Transport Agency thanks drivers for their patience during the day, and apologises for any inconvenience while this important work is carried out.
