Body identified as missing man

"Body identified as missing man"
The body of a man found dead in Mount Maunganui last night (Sunday, 23 November) has been identified as 37-year-old Stephen Tracey who went missing from the area in late September.
Mr Tracey was discovered in an area of dense bush close to a walking track; a member of the public using the track contacted police.
There are no suspicious circumstances and the matter has been referred to the Coroner.
Mr Tracey's family have been notified and our sincere condolences are with his family at this difficult time.
