Man injured by cow
The Palmerston North based Rescue Helicopter was dispatched to a farm near Tangiwai at around 11:30 am where a man was injured after he was kicked by a cow.
He received leg injuries and was stabilised on scene by St John paramedics before being airlifted to Palmerston North. The helicopter was called due to the remote location and distance to travel to hospital.
