Police complete investigation into Housing NZ Christchurch complaint
Canterbury Police confirm that they received a complaint shortly after 9am this morning from a member of staff at the Housing New Zealand office in Christchurch of an alleged threat by phone.
Police have investigated the complaint and spoken at length to the complainant and the alleged suspect.
As a result of investigations Police are confident that there is no threat to anyone in this particular case.
Police take all such threats seriously and our top priority will always be to ensure the safety of staff and the public and respond accordingly.
Police will be making no further comment regarding this complaint.
