Karaka road - serious motor vehicle collision

Police are in attendance at motor vehicle collision between a car and a truck on Karaka Road, Karaka.
One person has been seriously injured and is presently being attended to at the scene.
The road remains blocked at this time and diversions have been established.
Motorists travelling to Pukekohe are advised to take the MIll Road exit to avoid delays and congestion.
However part of Karaka Road is open to access local addresses. Traffic can take the Karaka exit, before turning onto Blackbridge, Lewis, Charles and then continuing west on Glenbrook.
The diversions are expected to be in place for at least an hour.
