Bike the Bridge for Less with Earlybird Discounts
Bike the Bridge is back for 2014, with earlybird discounts if you register before 31 August, so if you want to be part of Auckland’s biggest cycling event, now is the ideal time.
The event takes place on Sunday 16th November, with courses of 105km, 50km and 20km all featuring the unique experience of riding over the iconic Auckland Harbour Bridge and finishing at the North Harbour (QBE) Stadium.
It doesn’t matter whether you are a serious cyclist or someone who only pulls the bike out of the shed every once in a while – there’s plenty of fun to be had for you and the rest of your family. Primary aged children can ride on the closed ring road over 600m or 2km distances and toddlers can join in too on their own dedicated track inside the safe confines of the oval.
Anyone can take part and you don’t need to own a flash road bike either, just make sure it’s roadworthy and that you’re wearing a helmet at all times.
As well as enjoying the fantastic festival atmosphere once you cross the finish line, Bike the Bridge also gives you the chance to raise money for Multiple Sclerosis, with over $170,000 raised in previous events.
To enter go to www.bikethebridge.co.nz and don’t forget those earlybird discounts are only on offer until 31st August.
See you at the Bridge!
