Apiti crash victim dies
Central, 14 July 2014 - An 18-year-old woman who was a passenger in a single vehicle crash on Oroua Valley Road, Apiti, on Friday 11 July, 2014 has died in the Palmerston North Hospital.
Jessica Watts, aged 18, of Feilding died on Saturday 12 July, 2014.
The Feilding Police assisted by the Serious Crash Unit is continuing to investigate the crash. Officers are working to determine what factors have led to the crash and it is too early at this stage to comment on any charges.
Police want to extend their sincere condolences to Jessica's family and seek the support of media in respecting their privacy during this difficult time.
