Student in critical condition after incident at school
At approximately 11.30am today Counties Manukau police were called to the Pacific Christian School in Mangere where an incident had taken place between two students.
One of the students has been taken to hospital where he is in a critical condition.
Police are currently talking to staff and students at the school to gain a better understanding of what happened. A scene examination is also taking place.
A student is currently being spoken to by police in relation to the inquiry.
Police say it is very early stages in the investigation and it will take some time to fully establish details of what took place.
Victim Support are at the school where they are providing support to staff, students and parents following this incident.
