Fatal Crash - Riverhead - Waitemata
The Coatesville Riverhead Highway (SH 28) has been closed between the Riverhead turnoff on SH 16 and Old Railway Road as
emergency services deal with a fatal crash near Moontide Road.
The crash, involving a car and a truck, was reported to Police at 7.22am. A woman in the car was trapped and died at the
scene. No other injuries were reported.
Diversions have been signposted using Old North Road and will be in place for some time as the Police Serious Crash Unit
(SCU) process the scene.
No further information will be made available until SCU complete their investigation.
