Car Fire In Hutt Road
Emergency services are currently at the scene of a car on fire in the southbound lane of the Petone to Wellington Motorway.
Traffic southbound has been reduced to one lane and this will cause major delays to city bound traffic.
A slight wind is pushing smoke towards the harbour so visibility has not been an issue but northbound traffic is slowing considerably due to people watching what is happening. Caution is advised in both directions.
There have been no injuries as a result of this incident.
