Man charged over attack on female jogger
North Shore Police have tonight charged a man with an attack on a female jogger in Devonport in April.
The woman was running along Lake Road on the evening of 22 April when she was indecently assaulted.
“A 23 year-old Northcote man will appear in the North Shore District Court on Friday morning, on two charges of indecent assault” says Detective Aaron Iremonger, North Shore Police.
“This attack was very concerning to many Devonport residents and the arrest of this man will hopefully bring a sense of relief to the local community” says Mr Iremonger.
