Informal feedback now online
Feedback received during the informal engagement phase for Auckland’s draft Unitary Plan is now online.

The 22,000 pieces of feedback can be searched by surname, organisation or using the ID number submitters received from
council in an acknowledgement letter.
Penny Pirrit, manager of regional and local planning at Auckland Council, says the feedback has been processed, coded
and analysed by council planners to identify key issues.
“Handwritten comments, coding and notes are visible on the forms – these represent how the team processed the feedback.
“The feedback has then been grouped to find out what the common areas of concerns and support are so they can be
discussed at the Councillors and local board workshops and work can be done to make changes.
“For privacy reasons we have also removed all contact details and any personal information people may have provided, so
only names or organisations will remain visible on the form,” she said.
Those who filled out a proforma (the same feedback form signed and submitted individually by a number of people) will
find their form grouped with all others who provided feedback on the same or similar form, rather than individually.
