Full description:
At 2.07 pm emergency services were called to a ruptured gas main at the intersection of Khandallah and Cockayne Roads.
Khandallah Road has been closed between Simla Crescent and Cockayne Road, and at Clutha Road and Cockayne Road.
Residents are being allowed through the cordons but pedestrians are being held back.
Fire and Police are currently dealing with the situation.
