Missing Elderly Male
Late yesterday afternoon the alarm was raised when an 80 year old Foxton Beach man failed to return home after going out for a walk with his dog.
The local Police, Search and Rescue, and Fire Service have searched the area and will recommence at 7 o'clock this morning.
Police are asking if the public could ring should they see an elderly Caucasian male wearing brown corduroy pants, a black checked shirt, black shoes and black cap. He is 5'7" with long grey hair, and often carries his small white dog on a lead.
Police have serious concerns for this male as he is known to have a medical condition.
