Information about meth ring associate needed
On Tuesday November 13, 12 search warrants were executed in Auckland, Whangarei, two in Herekino, 26km from Kaitaia and one in Pukepoto, 6km from Kaitaia.
Police teams found $154,000 cash and $300,000 worth of methamphetamine as a result of a three-month-long investigation run by the Organised Financial Crime Agency of New Zealand (OFCANZ).
Ten people have been arrested and charged to date, all of whom have appeared in various District Courts between and Kaitaia and Manukau.
Police now want to locate 48 year-old Curtis Yates who is wanted to interview in relation to his involvement in this matter. Yates is Maori of solid build and stands about 183 cm tall.
He is transient by nature but has contacts in Kaitaia, Whangärei, Taupo, and Wellington.
