New board appointments for ACPL and ACIL
The Mayor has welcomed the appointment of Tiwana Tibble to the board of Auckland Council Property Limited (ACPL) and
Diana Puketapu to Auckland Council Investments Limited (ACIL).
“Tiwana Tibble is best known for his outstanding leadership over 14 years as Chief Executive of the Ngati Whatua o
Orakei Maori Trust Board,” says Mayor Len Brown. “Diana Puketapu has extensive financial experience having worked for
BMW Oracle Racing.
“The expertise that Tiwana and Diana bring to their new roles will be invaluable as the two Auckland Council controlled
organisations (CCOs) enter their third year of operation.
“Tiwana brings specialised knowledge in commercial property development, and finance, particularly with joint ventures
and extensive expertise in Maori development,” says Sir John Wells, Chair of ACPL.
Simon Allen, Chair of ACIL, says Diana has excellent accounting, strategic and relationship skills, and will be a
valuable addition to the Board.
Auckland Council’s CCO Strategy Review Subcommittee is responsible for all board appointments to substantive CCOs and
Watercare.
