Newmont Waihi Gold Update 26 July 2012
Attached, in our latest NWG Update, is a summary of events that took place last week in Waihi relating to the truck fire underground.
The investigation into the cause of the fire and the response to the incident continues this week. Currently the truck
remains underground while forensic examination takes place. We expect it will be brought to the surface later today.
Underground mining resumed last week – business as usual.
