New movement and music experience at Santa’s Grotto this festive season
Visitors to Santa’s Grotto at the Southern Centre this holiday season are in for a great treat – they can make music with their bodies during their magical journey to visit Santa in his grotto.
The Funky Morgan’s body-generated digital sounds debuted at QEII-based Multi Sensory Facility earlier this year and will be part of Santa’s Grotto this festive season where its sensor technology can be used to translate body movements into digitally-generated sounds.
It joins the line-up of other interactive equipment, innovative lighting, rhythmic sounds and nose-tingling scents. Visitors will also have the chance to meet Santa and leave with a treat as part of their multi-sensory experience.
Grotto hours at the Southern Centre have been extended by an hour (1pm to 4pm) while an additional day has been added to the annual programme (17 December to 22 December, weekends included).
