Papanui Police are investigating an assault

Papanui Police are investigating an assault on a young school student between 10.00 and 11.00 pm on Monday 23rd November 2009.
The young girl was walking through the grounds of Kendal School towards the Waimairi Cemetery.
She was assaulted by two unknown males as she got to the gate between the school and the cemetery.
The two males are described as
Male 1: European
Aged 20 to 30 years
Clean Shaven with goatee beard
Male 2: European
Aged 20 to 30 years
Beard
Police would like to speak to anyone who has any information that may assist or who may have seen anything or anyone acting suspiciously in the area in recent weeks.
They are asked to contact the Papanui Police on 374 1700.
An investigation is underway and there is no further information to be provided at this time.
