Serious Motorcycle accident in Raumati

Wellington Based Westpac Rescue Helicopter called to a Serious Motorcycle accident in Raumati
The Westpac Rescue Helicopter was called today 1st Nov 09 at 2:45pm to motorbike accident in Raumati, South of Paraparaumu.
A 20yr old male from Paraparaumu fell off his motorbike and sustained head, neck injuries and lacerations to his body.
On arrival of the Helicopter the patient was being treated by Wellington Free Paramedics already on the scene.
Two of the Paramedics flew back to the Wellington Hospital Emergency Department with the patient where he is being treated for his injuries.
The patient is currently being assessed at the emergency department in a stable but serious condition
