Whangärei: Homicide Inquiry

Whangärei Police have launched a homicide inquiry today at a rural address south west of the city.
Police were called to the house early this morning and a 30-year-old man was arrested.
He will be appearing today in the Whangärei District Court charged with murder.
Police are still are speaking to a number of witnesses and carrying out a scene examination, which is expected to take a number of days.
The male victim has yet to be identified.
