Christchurch Police are this morning continuing their search of the area around Rupert Place where a 39 year old woman left home around midnight Monday/ Tuesday.
Search and Rescue are searching along the Avon River in the Avonside area and an area canvas is underway.
"We ask anyone in the vicinity of Gayhurst Road to check their properties in case she has taken shelter in an outside shed or garage," says DSS David Harvey.
Christchurch Police are concerned for the well being of the woman who has been missing from her Dallington home since midnight Monday/Tuesday 18/19 August.
The 39 year old mother of three left an address in Rupert Place, off Gayhurst Road, about midnight wearing only night attire. She has not contacted her family or friends or been heard from or sighted since that time.
