Helping people achieve their potential top MSD's Central Agenda
Associate Minister for Social Development and Employment, Darren Hughes, who is MP for Otaki and represents the districts of Horowhenua and Kapiti, says the plan contains a number of significant projects that will have a positive effect on many people in the region.
The regional plan, which is being launched today, is one of 11 being rolled out across New Zealand.  The plans set out each region’s issues and development opportunities and how the Ministry is responding to these.
The Central region plan covers the Kapiti, Horowhenua, Manawatu, Tararua and Wairarapa areas.
