In Conversation with the Creative Team behind
APRON STRINGS
After premiering at this year’s Auckland International Film Festival, Apron Strings continues to delight audiences as a
film that celebrates love, food, and cultural diversity.
Script to Screen invites writer and director Vanessa Alexander (Being Eve, Magik and Rose) to lead the discussion with
an all-female panel, welcoming Apron Strings co-writer and co-producer Shuchi Kothari (Writer/Producer Coffee & Allah, 1000 Apologies), co-writer Dianne Taylor (former Creative Director of Blue Moon advertising agency), and
producer Rachel Gardner (Show of Hands, TV One drama series The Pretender) to share their behind the scenes journey in
redefining the classic kiwi film.
